Auckland Elopement by Helicopter

Doug and John’s elopement was nothing short of an adventure. Traveling all the way from the USA to New Zealand, they sought a celebration as bold and breathtaking as their love. From our very first Zoom call, where my newborn daughter made a guest appearance, I knew this couple’s story would be unforgettable.

The day began with a tour of Auckland’s iconic spots. We captured stunning moments against the city’s picturesque backdrops, each photo telling a story of joy and anticipation. But the real magic began when we boarded a helicopter to their dream ceremony location—a secluded rock in the middle of the ocean.

As we descended onto the rock, the endless blue waters stretched around us. The isolation made the moment even more intimate. Doug and John exchanged heartfelt vows, their words carried by the wind and waves. Though the rock was small and a bit intimidating, their love and excitement eclipsed any apprehension.

With every shot, we captured the grandeur of the location and the raw, genuine emotions of the day. The elopement ended with Doug and John carrying home the most spectacular memories of their New Zealand adventure—a story they would treasure forever.
