Emma and Owen’s elopement on Waiheke Island was nothing short of magical. Choosing to keep their wedding day intimate, they surrounded themselves with only their closest family members—just 11 people. They rented a stunning Airbnb, which became the heart of their day, from getting ready in the cozy space to exchanging vows on the picturesque front lawn. The atmosphere was filled with ease and joy, with no pressure of a large audience or strict timelines, allowing them to soak in every moment without distraction.

Owen, proudly honoring his Scottish heritage, wore a traditional kilt, adding a unique and personal touch to their wedding. We couldn’t resist having a bit of fun incorporating it into their photos! The weather was ever-changing, with light drizzles rolling in and out, but every time it mattered, the skies cooperated, creating the perfect diffused light for photography. Following their heartfelt ceremony, we ventured to a breathtaking viewpoint for their couple portraits, where the dramatic clouds added an ethereal glow to the day. The relaxed and intimate nature of their elopement made it an unforgettable experience, perfectly capturing the essence of their love story.
