Jessica and Howard’s wedding on Waiheke Island was a celebration of love, resilience, and the power of adaptability. Originally planned as a grand affair with over 200 guests, the world had other plans when the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything. Faced with the challenge of closed borders and uncertainty, the couple made the heartfelt decision to host a small, intimate wedding surrounded by those who mattered most.

Set against the serene beauty of Waiheke Island, the day was perfect in every way. Without the rush and stress of a large event, Jessica and Howard were able to fully immerse themselves in every moment. Their joy was palpable as they exchanged vows, their love radiating under the island’s gentle skies.

After the ceremony, we wandered through the island’s stunning landscapes, capturing their connection in front of rugged cliffs, lush greenery, and the endless expanse of the ocean. Every frame told a story of love, perseverance, and the beauty of simplicity.
