Proposal at The Glasshouse, Morningside


Some proposals seem straight out of a fairytale, and Weijin & Daisha’s moment at The Glasshouse in Morningside was exactly that—a scene of enchantment and pure romance. Known as one of Auckland’s most elite wedding venues, The Glasshouse offers an air of timeless elegance with its industrial glass walls and lush greenery.

Every detail of the setup was breathtaking: twinkling string lights wrapped around every tree, and over 100 candles lined the path leading to the proposal spot. The glow of the lights reflected off the glass, creating a warm, magical atmosphere that could melt anyone’s heart.

As Weijin guided Daisha into the venue, her face immediately lit up with awe, her eyes brimming with emotion. She gasped, then sank to her knees, overcome with joy and shedding a river of happy tears. The depth of her reaction spoke volumes about their love.

During the post-proposal shoot, I guided them through different areas of the venue, capturing not just their radiant smiles but the palpable love that filled the space. Every shot felt like a moment from a romantic movie—timeless, elegant, and full of passion.
